For use on Rigid & IMC Conduit. Reduces the threaded opening on conduit bodes or any female threaded fitting.

Steel Reducing Bushings are used to couple, connect, or fasten electric conduit or cables. Steel Reducing Bushings are used to join male and female pipe ends. They connect electric conduit pipes that have external threading, with pipe ends that have internal threading. You can connect them using a single reducer bushing. Reducer bushings have male threading on one end (outside) and smaller female threading on the other end (inside).

Steel reducing bushings adapt narrow, threaded rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) to fit in larger knockouts. The bushings have larger, exterior threads that screw into the knockout of electrical boxes. The smaller interior threads allow the conduit to be screwed into the metal bushing.
