The Morris Products 93222 Aluminum Long Barrel Compression Splice is designed to create strong, high-conductivity connections for electrical conductor splicing in commercial, industrial, and utility power distribution systems. This compression splice is AL9CU dual rated, allowing it to safely connect both aluminum and copper conductors. Its long barrel design allows multiple compression crimps, increasing mechanical strength and maximizing the electrical contact area for a secure, long-lasting connection.
Each connector barrel is pre-filled with oxide inhibitor and capped to help prevent oxidation and maintain conductivity over time. The splice is also color coded and marked with die index and crimp marks to simplify identification and help ensure correct installation using compatible compression tooling.
